It is important for the students and parents to understand the admission and selection policy of HVS.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"listing\">\n<li>The students are considered for admission according to their age appropriateness for the grade of entry.<\/li>\n<li>Age criteria (as on the 1st April of the year of joining )are as follows:<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\">\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width:60px;\"><\/td>\n<td>Class IV<\/td>\n<td>:<\/td>\n<td>&nbsp;&nbsp;8 &#8211;  &nbsp;&nbsp;9 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width:60px;\"><\/td>\n<td>Class V<\/td>\n<td>:<\/td>\n<td>&nbsp;&nbsp;9 &#8211;  10 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width:60px;\"><\/td>\n<td>Class VI<\/td>\n<td>:<\/td>\n<td>10 &#8211; 11 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width:60px;\"><\/td>\n<td>Class VII<\/td>\n<td>:<\/td>\n<td>11 &#8211; 12 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width:60px;\"><\/td>\n<td>Class VIII<\/td>\n<td>:<\/td>\n<td>12 &#8211; 13 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width:60px;\"><\/td>\n<td>Class IX<\/td>\n<td>:<\/td>\n<td>13 &#8211; 14 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width:60px;\"><\/td>\n<td>Class XI<\/td>\n<td>:<\/td>\n<td>16 &#8211; 17 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Written Assessment and Interview Process<\/h2>\n<p>A written assessment and interviews are conducted to each student. The written examination is conducted in the following subjects: <\/p>\n<li>The written assessment will be conducted as follows\n<ol class=\"listing\">\n<li>1.\tGrade VI to Grade IX: English and Mathematics <\/li>\n<li>2.\tGrade XI: for M.P.C Stream \u2013 Mathematics\n<li>3.\tGrade XI: for Bi.P.C Stream \u2013 Physics, Chemistry and Biology\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<p>Written test is followed by an interview after which parents will be notified about the eligibility of student for admission.<br \/>\nThe syllabus for the written test is based on the syllabus studied by the student in his\/her previous class. The question paper for the test is multiple choice based on the subjects mentioned above. Overseas students can have their assessment on online mode after which a Skype or telephonic interview will be conducted.<br \/>\nAll applications are fairly and compassionately considered strictly based on merit. HVS preserves its integrity on its admission policy by not responding to any kind of pressure or representation from any quarter.\n<\/p>\n<h2>Fee Payment and Boarding Instructions<\/h2>\n<p>As soon as the parent is intimated about his\/her son\u2019s\/daughter\u2019s eligibility for admission, they have to pay the admission fees within a span of two days. Failure to do so will render the seat canceled and offered to the candidate next on the waiting list.<\/p>\n<p>Security deposit, first term fee, and pocket money should be paid on or before the day of joining the school. Part payments are not allowed. <\/p>\n<p>Students who have been granted admission have to collect their boarding slips on arrival on the first day of school from the front office. Students will not be permitted into the dorms without the boarding slip.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-4 right-panel\">\n\r\n<div id=\"widgets_for_shortcodes\" class=\"amr-widget-area\"><aside id=\"text-3\" class=\"widget widget_text\">\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\">   <div class=\"well\">\r\n        <h2>Registration<\/h2>\r\n        <p> If wish to register, please download  Registration form  and fill in the details and send it to  the office along with the non-refundable registration fees as mentioned in the fee structure. Registration does not guarantee admission.
